The Founder and Director of Phenomenal Experiences, Maria P. Gray, majored in Advertising and Marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology and has worked in both industries for more than seven years. During her career, she has planned and executed a number of business and individual events, including holiday parties, golf and other client outings, seminars, dinner parties, weddings, birthday gatherings and themed events.
After planning and executing events for various employers at some of the most famous venues in the world, including New York City’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and The Waldorf=Astoria Hotel, Maria decided that it was time to set out on her own. The result – Joie de Vivre 11 – an event planning and consulting company that takes dreams and turns them into phenomenal occasions.
The name “Joie de Vivre” or “Joy of Life” reflects Maria’s attitude towards the events she plans. Her clients feel as if theirs is the only event that matters to Maria, with meticulous attention to every detail, creativity and care, professionalism and panache, as if Maria is planning and executing an event for herself.
